Since first teaming up at the end of 2023 for a harp accompanied telling of some ancient Welsh folk-tales, Tony “Monty” Hirst and Theresa Ellis were joined by singer Jenni Charity mid-way through 2024, to form Stories’n’Harp. A preview show of “Mediaeval Tales (WIP)” was followed by two different, and compelling, performances at Ventnor Fringe under the banner of “Tales of Britain Ireland”.

For Halloween this year, ‘Tis Tale teller Holly is teaming up with Merl Fluin to bring a set of Tales of Darkness and Dread at Babushka Books in Shanklin.
Bringing stories of the restless dead and vengeful spirits, and tales that will twist and turn and follow you home, doors open at 7pm for 7:30pm start on Thursday 31st October . Tickets £7 including refreshments. Suitable for ages 16+

‘Tis Tales teller Monty is giving a new performance of his first show from back in February, 2023 — Unforeseen Consequences: Travelling the Road — at FuBar, Ryde, on Saturday September 21st, 2024, 3-4pm, as part of the first Isle of Wight Steampunk Festival.
