Step out of the winter chill and experience the magic of traditional storytelling! Join Island storytellers Sue Bailey, Holly Medland and Tony “Monty” Hirst , aka ‘Tis Tales, present:

Tall Tales and Tiny Truths stories of wit, wisdom and wonder, with maybe just a tiny touch of truth woven in. Myths and mischief, legends and lies, these stories are made to be spoken and shared in good company.

UK Storytelling Clubs and Events Calendar

Prompted by a post to the Society for Storytelling Facebook group by Peter Giles listing as many stroytelling clubs and story circles that Peter could find as part of his bid to visit them all, Monty hacked together “a thing” to provide a relative calendar (“this week”, “next week”, etc.) over what clubs are on when.

With that itch scratched, he then started to add a list of stroytelling events to the calendar… which he’ll try to keep to date, ish, but which is non-trivial because the common source of much of the information, which is to say:Facebook, makes it really hard to find and extract imnformation in an automated way, the F-book model being to drip feed you info in a way that maximises the amount of ads it can present you with…
